Well, not that old really, it's only been like 4 months. My mom, brother, and I took a day trip down to Monterey/Pacific Grove/Big Sur. It was a foggy day with overcast skies and cool temperatures, just my kind of weather. All the usual suspects were around as well as some new ones.

A pelican perched on a rock with a bird flying in the background
A sea otter hanging out in the waves
A molting seal resting on a cratered rock
There was some other wildlife that I couldn't get very clear shots of including dolphins, sea lions, and a lot of different birds. All in all, a very good day for seeing wildlife. The pelicans were much more prevalent compared to when I was last in the area and there was also a lot more visible kelp.
I really missed that cool ocean breeze. We watched a lot of big waves breaking in Garrapata state park and there was hardly anyone around.
Here's a neat shot of some ground cover with fog filled hills in the background.
