오늘 출장도중 우연히 fm107.7에서 음악소개방송을
청취하게되어 알게된 그룹을 소개하고자 합니다.
바로!! 블루스에 죽고사는 캔드 히트(Canned Heat)를
소개합니다.
멤버로는 배리 레벤슨(Barry Levenson),
그렉 케이지(Greg Kage), 로버트 루카스(Robert Lucas),
피토 데 라 파라(Fito de la Parra) 로 구성되었습니다.
LA출신의 블루스록 밴드인 캔드히트는 ’60년대 후반부터
뛰어난 연주력이 돋보이는 즉흥적인 잼스타일의
블루스록 사운드로 최고의 전성기를 누렸습니다.
2015년 이들의 결성 50주년을 기념하여 발표한
라이브 앨범은 아직도 건재한 블루스록의 모범작인
형식을 들려주었습니다.
‘On The Road Again’, ‘Rollin And Tumblin’ 등
26곡의 작품이 수록되었습니다.
1967년 몬트레이 팝 페스티벌과 1969년 우드스탁에
출현하면서 정상급 밴드로 대접받게 되었습니다.
오늘알게된 그룹이라 저도 노래는 처음들어보는데요
