"I believe we can all agree that it's not great that Twitter, one of the world's biggest social platforms, is now 100% controlled by one billionaire."
You are wrong. I could not be happier about Musk taking Twatter private. Were I him I'd make it a Starlink service and utterly uncensorable, as soon as possible, by taking the company off planet. A Martian company cannot be regulated by Earth government. Even if he is a cryptic WEF minion, the potential to spin a narrative justifying Earthen overreach is monumental, and if he's not the ability to use that jurisdictional dispute to rally every free speech advocate to his leadership is simply of potentially biblical import.
Ned Scott held the founder's stake for years on Steem and not until a melevolent dictator bought it was Hive necessary.
"Free speech of celebrities and billionaires is never "canceled" and no one should believe that nonsense..."
On the contrary. President Donald J. Trump, the sitting President of the United States of America at the time, was notoriously banned. Senator Rand Paul, Dr.'s Zev Zelenko, Peter McCullough, and Robert Malone have all been banned. Happens on Hive too, although the censorship mechanism is different. Just ask @world-travel-pro,
@haejin, or
@fulltimegeek.
You seem of late to be giving various matters little thought, all too willing, eager even, to regurgitate popular programming. Quite obvious facts seem to completely escape your notice, like Trump, Alex Jones, and many other famous people and institutions being banned on Twatter. Any thoughts on why that's happening?
Thanks!
