We have wild willows locally, along rivers and streams. I will have to investigate to see if they have appreciable levels of salicin, as I seek to replace my prescriptions with nutriceuticals as possible. I have been prescribed baby aspirin to thin my blood since my heart attack in 2020 and specifically baby aspirin because it is gentle on my stomach. Tea sounds even gentler, so I will investigate whether I can substitute a cuppa for my morning pill.

Thanks!
