I will point out that it is facile and common to put new stocks on old rifles, and Mauser long action .30-06 are extremely common and widely used for hunting, so there are an inexhaustible supply of hardware for improving their utility, new scopes, trigger systems, stocks, and more are very commonly used to replace the original milspec furniture.

I have shot an elk in the spine with a .30-06. The spine was shattered and became shrapnel that actually killed the elk by penetrating the heart with multiple slivers of bone, as also appeared to have happened to Charlie Kirk. However, the elk vertebrae are ~5x larger and more robust than human bone, and anyone familiar with hunting with the .30-06 will find it incredible that there is claimed to be no exit wound from a neck shot. All the energy of the bullet was delivered to the vertebrae and the energy was directed towards the back of the neck, which makes the claim that no shards of bone exited the skin in that direction utterly unbelievable.

Then there's an acoustic analysis of the report of the shot, which indicates that the shot was taken from <100 feet from Charlie Kirk. The speed of sound is an extremely reliable metric, and the video in the wild has that information that anyone can check for themselves.

None of the information that I have seen supports Tyler Robinson being the shooter - other than unverifiable (and almost certainly fabricated by the FBI) text messages. Visual examination of the pics and video the FBI claims was Robinson carrying the rifle do not show the rifle in the possession of Robinson. The acoustic analysis contradicts the claim Robinson shot from the Losee Center roof. The complete BS about the injury to Charlie Kirk, and the lack of crime scene investigative procedures absolutely discounts the claims that the FBI is rigorously analyzing and investigating the murder, and strongly suggests they are sacrificing a patsy to cover for the real conspiracy that assassinated Charlie Kirk.

However, all of this is completely overshadowing the fact that three hours before Charlie Kirk was murdered spectacularly and the conspiracy theorists are being deliberately cranked up to 11, the US Congress voted against releasing the Epstein files, and the Republican Party was decisive in voting to keep that litany of crimes against humanity that clearly corrupts US government. I don't think that was the motive to kill Charlie Kirk, but the completely shoddy FBI patsy sacrifice may well be motivated by the fact it prevents discussion of the fact that Trump and other US politicians are being blackmailed by Israel because they're child molesters.

I realize you're between video you can just post in the blog, but just making a link isn't hard to do, and I carefully explained a comment or two ago. I can explain it again, if you would like me to.

Re-edit: I am watching the video now, and want to correct some information I think is inaccurate. First, it has long been common and standard practice to provide serial numbers on firearms, even prior to WWI. I have never seen a Mauser action rifle without a serial number, and I have owned several and used more. Second, the description of vertebrae as one of the weakest bones is bullshit. Perhaps the hips are stronger, but vertebrae and the spine are one of the strongest bones in the body. Cartilage isn't hard, but it is very robust and it is it's elasticity that adds to the robustness of the spine. The very strong vertebrae connected by very strong and slightly flexible cartilage make the structure extremely resistance to damage.

I dunno what Alex Jones is babbling about. When I shot the elk in the spine with a .30-06, the bullet and the vertebra exploded. I didn't do a forensic examination, but I did have to remove the bullet and bone fragments from the meat of the backstraps, heart, and liver, and absolutely confirm there were exit wounds as a result. While I completely refute the claim that vertebrae are weak bones - again, the spine is perhaps the strongest bone in the body of mammals - I completely agree that it is impossible that there was no exit wound to the back of the neck. There certainly was on the elk I shot in the spine, and the elk spine is ~5x larger and more robust than the human spine. That bone strapped to the test dummy is far weaker than vertebrae, much thinner walled. I found an elk vertebra yesterday hunting elk, and the central cylindrical part of the vertebra is almost solid bone over 2" thick. The wall of long bones is a fraction of that thickness, and accordingly less robust. The cartilage increases the strength of the spine to resist shock by acting as a shock absorber, like rubber tires, grommets, and bushings in automobile suspension. By connecting vertebrae elastically, discs of cartilage increase the shock resistance of the solid bone by spreading the force, just like the kevlar fibers do in a chest plate in body armor. Kevlar isn't the hardest substance. Diamond is, but diamond would make terrible bullet proof armor because it's brittle. Kevlar is used because it isn't brittle, but does flex a little, and this enables fibers of it to transmit the shock to the rest of the plate, and that is also how cartilage works in our spines.

That didn't stop the .30-06 from creating an exit wound when I shot an elk in the spine, and it wouldn't stop a .30-06 from creating an exit wound in a human being. Your assessment of the exit wound is spot on. The spine would not have been able to support the weight of the head after being struck - at best - and only the soft tissue would have potentially remained connecting the head to his body.

As to the drop, it's immaterial, essentially amounting to a flat shot from that distance. The bullet travels in an arc even when you are level with your target, so adding a small vertical drop to that arc isn't materially relevant.

The essential fact in this case is that Charlie Kirk was not shot by Tyler Robinson with a .30-06 from >100 yards, because Tyler Robinson didn't have a .30-06 on that rooftop if those pics and video are him going up the stairs and jumping down. Both the lack of an exit wound and the acoustic analysis further support this conclusion, as well as all the bullshit the FBI is claiming about changing clothes, breaking down the rifle, reassembling the rifle while leaving it behind, and the ridiculous text exchange with Tyler's BFF.
