I recently asked Resonator about it, and he pointed out that the embedding is enabled by the front ends we use to post on Hive. If you're using Peakd, then the Peakd team has chosen to embed Tubeyou videos, but not Rumble, Odysee, or BitChute. I don't know if anyone has asked them if it is possible to enable other video platforms' video to be embedded in posts using Peakd, but Resonator and I agree this is something that should be enabled by Peakd and the other front ends. I haven't inquired because I don't create video content, but you do, and you have a use for embedding video from such other platforms so that you can avoid promoting Tubeyou products that are amongst the most egregious censors today, as well as ensure Tubeyou's malicious censorship of your content doesn't also censor it on Hive.

Asgarth and Jarvie, I believe, are two of the principals of Peakd. On the Sting Peakd threads there are others that may be part of the team that respond to bug reports and feature requests, but they may only work on Sting. I don't know. There may be other video content providers that would like to see Peakd provide embedding for video from other platforms. In the event you inquire and don't get much positive reaction, I would recommend finding additional petitioners to add their voice to yours in seeking redress of this issue.

The USG paying for propaganda disrupts the free press. It is bad for the free market, and worse, it is unconstitutional and treasonous because the free press is one of the most fundamental necessities a free people have. How can the electorate be well informed if instead of a free press they are propagandized? Both the plant based diet and the carnivore diet largely exclude processed foods. That both of those diets have similar health benefits may simply be that eliminating factory made processed foods provides those benefits. I have long hankered for AI like Manus.im to automate independent production of goods and services via individually owned means, like 3D printers, CNC routers, aquaponics, and etc., because then individuals are able to multiply their productivity and diversify their capabilities in the same way that centralization enabled overlords to do so by hiring collective labor. This enables individuals to turn their independent means of production into rentier income, where we can invest a few hundred $'s and generate wealth without providing a source of labor. This will require robot arms, but I think that's something that can be managed by AI as well, because I have looked superficially into 3D printed robot arms and that technology is rapidly developing and prices dropping significantly.
