Helicopters can be used to start fires. They were used to drip burning napalm on areas we were clearing of brush when I worked fighting wildfires as a kid. They can also drop water, or fire retardant, pick people and valuables up, and some other things that might be highly emunerative when Hollywood Hills is threatened with fire.
