I have to disagree about the jetpack powered Marine being supplanted by drones. We're a ways off yet from drones being able to kick down doors and drag people out of their beds at 2am for interrogation, and that kind of functionality is certainly enhanced when there's a minefield between lines the flying marine can just hop. It's true that for the price of that jetpack powered marine you could get 1000 drones (or more) and the mission he can perform has to be relatively more valuable than a 1000 drone strikes, but I think there certainly are such missions, and marines that much more valuable than drones. ~4B years of evolution is still more advanced than the gadgets we can make.

I am a little confused about what is taking the closeup video of the flying marine, though. Both near the beginning of his flight, and the end, there are moments when he can be seen from head to toe without seeing the intervening selfie stick on which a camera could be perched (which appears to be mounted at his left shoulder in the video taken from other viewpoints). Is this also AI generated?

I strongly agree that Russia is making a grave error by publicly torturing suspects. The fact they are tortured is the strongest support of their opposition to Russia (although not of terrorism). However the clips of the go-pro video taken by the terrorists is very packed with fakery, such as sparks flying from rifle barrels, that leave me completely baffled. Given the tortuous nature of the Russian response, it almost seems to me that the entire narrative is a pro-Ukraine fake.
