Regarding Windows I could hardly be more happy I moved to Linux. I could neither be more happy that I do not have any smart devices, and am even more sure I do not want remote access to anything I own.

Edit: during the birth of my second son by c-section, he came out blue, with the cord wrapped around his neck. His mother couldn't see, but she noticed he wasn't crying. She asked me why, as the nurses tried to start his heart, that had stopped.

I looked at her calmly as they were stitching her up, and said 'They're working on him.', to keep her calm until they finished the stitches, at least, or until there was something definite to say. A few seconds later the nurses succeeded, and he began squalling.

As my heart crawled back down out of my throat, I was gratified to see the nurses put him to his mother's breast.

I bet no one writes that story on Yahoo.
