So, it's just over reaction to party balloons, as you surmise, and that is designed to distract from the revelation (to most) that the USG and Norway committed an act of terrorism against it's ally, Germany, as well as Russia, which the US has been arming Ukrainians to kill, by blowing up the Nordstream pipeline. The balloon popping frenzy is keeping people from realizing who the real terrorists are, and what we should do about that.

I reckon Bidet and Nuland should be in orange jumpsuits right now, awaiting trial before military tribunals in Gitmo. I bet that's what most people think should happen to terrorists that operate out of the USA. Especially if they've been proven to be traitors to the Constitution and taken totalitarian power to censor Americans they are specifically prohibited from already.
