I know your plan has been set back by the illness you have mentioned a friend suffered. I expect land ownership to become a vector for financial attack in due time, so am not on the market for property, nor a landowner. I have sought to place covert camps conveniently on public land, and where I could, on private property as granted permission. These are only considered temporary refuges in the event of immediate need during hostilities, and staging to more permanent refugia in the area, sited to be available depending on my location during an immediate crisis.

There are two possibilities coming into view of our future: utter enslavement by brutal technocracy, or the permanent eradication of that vector by free people. I intend the latter, and take heart that prophets of the religious traditions I am aware of have predicted what seems to be happening today, and ubiquitously proclaimed that freedom and prosperity will prevail.

Whether I survive that contest is immaterial to me, because I will die on some hill or another and none seems to me of more merit than this one.
