This epidemic has become a pandemic. It has demonstrably passed international borders and is presently multiplying exponentially in 4 more countries besides China. Japan, South Korea, Italy, and Iran are all experiencing uncontrollable spread, and they haven't begun to undertake the degree of quarantine and antiviral combat that China has. The WHO is largely responsible for this, and may be killing millions of people by failing to do it's job, IMHO.

A couple weeks ago Italy was seeing a 'hug a Chinese' campaign.

Today they are an epicenter for pandemic. There is an evolutionary event ongoing, and folks that do sensible things are more likely to live. That's how evolution works.

I think you have good sense, Ed. Don't wait for the WHO to tell you to take action.
