They are doing GOF, adding themselves the increasing harm, which is the only way they can guarantee they will know EXACTLY, in advance.
I am pleased that the ability to genetically engineer is in the wild, as available to you, and I, as it is to Pfizer. While the financial playing field is not even, in due time the advantage will inure to individuals, and as with all centralized, top-down, hierarchies, decentralized, dispersed, egalitarian development will vastly outcompete the hopelessly parasitized production of Pfizer and their ilk.
