I beseech you to quit flogging the messenger and look at the message. You ignore voluminous evidence that volcanic eruptions have caused climactic variability throughout history, and as deep as we can peer into prehistory, as well as solar science which well supports variability in insolation through cycles of solar activity, and also is correlated throughout history.
Malone didn't originate either, and, as have I, merely points them out. I have not learned of these things only from Malone's email, but use his well crafted exposition of them to corroborate my own prior understanding. I could list dozens of separate sources of the solar science behind solar minima and maxima, as well as for vulcanism and the effects of particulates in quantity in the stratosphere, which if you care to, you can find yourself. Malone is not some lone loony raving about these things, but conveniently packaged them with good reason, and I link to that package because of that good reason.
El Nino/Nina is not causal. That cycle is an affect of variable insolation caused by solar cycles.
Thanks!
