I appreciate the perspective on Malone. While Malone's patent has expired, he certainly had that patent, and I find his present actions and perspective a lot more palatable than Lieber's, who was clearly a vile human being and traitor regarding this and other technology.

All that being said, I have too often taken rhetoric at face value, and you have set off my alarms that remained muted after noting he worked with the CIA, and I am going to be prepared now to completely disavow him when he advocates something sketchy.

I was just reading his latest screed, and found I agreed with many of the points he made and principles he espoused, but for one: I do not agree the state has authority over my medical care, and that seems to be his position. I'll keep a weather eye on him now, grateful to you for the head's up.
