You so misunderstand our condition I can scarcely credit you are actually human yourself.
I have hunted since my earliest youth, and one thing I note is that you do not see game animals being pushed around in prams. Deer can walk within minutes of birth, because those that couldn't filled the bellies of wolves. This is the real world we live in. As a hunter I visit shops purveying goods necessary to the practice, and one store in a local village that also provided groceries was owned by a man with no legs. He wheeled about briskly in a small, lightweight chair and handled his business.
In conversation I learned that due to a weakness in his leg bones, he had decided to have them removed when he attained majority, rather than suffer them broken continuously. While having that conversation, I spotted over his shoulder a photo of him leaning a rifle against a Bison, at least 20 times his size, in a meadow and sporting the grin of a successful hunter. I inquired about that picture, and he told me the story of how he had stalked and hunted the Bison, walking on his hands.
How dare you deny ordinary people the right to rise above our ordinariness. We do not now, never did, and never will need your coddling. The wolves will have their share, betimes they will not. While you consider cripples, children, and the weak lesser people that do not deserve to succeed by their own merits, I know people meeting those definitions that would wipe the floor with you and your 'care'.
In the end your despite of common folk won't matter, because we won't act only on your say. We will seize the day, and the equipment that enables us to outrun the wolves, outearn our oppressors, and outthink you. This is why the tortoise won the race: the hare suffered from a disability called hubris.
