I don't discount the challenges we face from the variety of pressures on us. I do note the novel means of surmounting challenges we are availed as technological advance increases the means of production applicable by individuals and extremely small capitalizations. There is no arena advancing more quickly and dispersing more broadly today than 3D printing. In advances that massively reduce the learning curve and hobbyist nature of the mechanism, Bambu labs and Creality have released printers that eliminate the majority of fussing with leveling and adjustments, even incorporating lidar to locate the printheads and facilitate turnkey operations. New types of materials are becoming just as facile of use, with the advent of paste extrusion printing, meant to serve the confection industry, but just as applicable in ceramics, cements, and a variety of materials than can be used to make things besides plastics.

There are also all the old ways of producing energy, and new ones that are available to individual households. The price of electricity shot up in Germany, while it has become standard to have solar panels on the roofs of houses there. Wind generators, microhydro, and pyresis are all likely to follow suit, making the power industry in Germany stronger by massively diversifying power producers. Folks producing power there are looking at much higher margins for their investments.

What is happening in every field, and at every scale, is that centralization of production is becoming non-competitive with decentralized production, as that decentralization matures and hits ever widening markets. It may become unheard of to buy electricity, only for the rich, for example, or considered dangerous or silly to buy preprocessed foods, when home production using hydroponics fed from aquaponics and home processing equipment produces the staples folks need to live.

Folks may scoff, rage, or whinge as they prefer.

They're the silly ones. Most people produced the food they needed to live only a few short centuries ago, and decentralized technologies scale small better than they scale up. We're facing a shifting paradigm, and as always happens when markets are disrupted, there will be winners and there will be losers. This time, many losers will die, as supply lines are sabotaged and people unable to change their means of acquisition of goods fail to secure essentials.

There is no such thing as a right to live. We are all guaranteed to die. That is absolute proof that we were granted a right to life, and that we are here demonstrates that right was fulfilled. Now, having life, we are required to earn it's continuation until we eventually, necessarily fail and die. That is just the facts that have always been true. All that's changed is the nature of the endeavors we must undertake to maintain our lives while we can do so.

Evolution continues to operate, and folks that can adapt to changing environments will move to where the window is open, while them unable to do so will find their way shut. Our sons and daughters will survive to breed as they are competent to do so, and them as aren't, won't. Evolution does not ever cease operation.

I have long advocated seizing today the means of production suitable to our personal circumstances and getting in front of the ongoing paradigm shift. Many will not, and will pay such price as is endemic to that failure. While we can curse and complain about needing to change our ways to prosper in new conditions, what is obvious upon consideration is that a world in which folks themselves produce the blessings of civilization they intend to enjoy will be far preferable to a world in which masses of sheeple take what they can get from overlords that take what they want.

The world to come will not be one primarily of ignorant chattel doing what they're told and taking what they're given, but of them that merit what they have because they themselves created it, and have what they merit by their industry to get it.

Evolution awaits your decision which group you'll be in. Overlords won't assign you. Only you can decide to depend on them for goyslop, bugpods, and CBDC UBI for services rendered as a medical test subject, or to be independent of overlords but an integral part of an interdependent community that themselves create the blessings of civilization they intend to have, and to leave a legacy to their posterity.
