Works well for homeowners protecting their families, or folks otherwise preventing their victimization by violent assailants. That would include rogue cops.

Not a big fan of police brutality myself, but I have to point out that the vast majority of police involved fatalities do not involve suspects shot in the back of the head while their hands are raised, unlike you imply.

I also think you're underreporting total police involved fatalities, as that number is far too low to represent global numbers. I bet you're reporting US police, which would be a useful bit of information that would help people understand the gravity of the problem.

I don't think casting false aspersions on law enforcement positively contributes to rational efforts to reduce police brutality. There's enough vicious savagery committed to encourage good people to work to prevent it. Misinformation only strongly discourages such folks when they discover they've been misled by making them question the evidence that led them to take action.
