While my own personal ninjaminer flaggot has practically zero familiarity with my content, I can actually provide examples where, when I myself was misled, I have posted dangerous misinformation.
During the early furor in China over the outbreak of SARS-CoV-2, I dug into the scientific papers that were published. The reports of that research claimed CFR (case fatality rates) as high as ~10%, and numerous internal harms, including such things as male sterility, instant death resulting from neural tissues being infected, etc.
I published links to these papers, and discussed my opinion of the disaster the disease would cause, which was, I subsequently have discovered, misinformation by the CCP.
In the interests of integrity I have since stated (as I do here) my disagreement with that misinformation, but leave it up to provide a complete record. I deeply regret being tricked by the CCP, but I was, and it's important to provide an example to folks that it is possible to change your mind when you have been fooled. Mark Twain pointed out that it is much easier to fool someone than convince them they've been fooled, and it's true, so providing that example that it is honest to change your mind is more important then never being fooled could be.
tl;dr I have previously published links to scientific research (particularly papers in Nature, and the Lancet) that I have since learned was false. I have since discovered it was false, and state so publicly, but leave it up to reveal the necessity and ease with which one can change one's mind, to encourage others that have been so tricked.
