It's awful damn long, and I don't even like thinking about mind control. The topic is peripheral to science, but is a lot more relevant to politics IMHO. Science, unless you're specifically referring to psychology, which I'm not, but the scientific method itself, doesn't much concern itself with persuasion. Mostly it's about letting empirical evidence do the persuading.

You can do science. Here's how you'd go about it. You'd form a hypothesis, such as that birds eat worms. You'd ponder on how to prove that birds didn't eat worms, because if you could prove that, you'd be done with that hypothesis and on to another. Well, all you can do is observe birds, and maybe kill some and see what's in them. When you do both or either of those things, you keep careful, highly detailed records. After you reach a goal, say 10000 birds observed feeding, or dissected, you have a statistically relevant body of data.

What you'd find by looking in bird tummies is that some birds eat worms, and some birds don't. You'd find the same thing out observing birds. Your notes would be publishible, and the work you had done could be repeated by other scientists, to see if you were lying or if you had shown that birds really both eat worms and don't eat worms, according to their kine.

That's science, and peer review. It has nothing to do with Brave New World, or Aldous Huxley. What you refer to as sorcery has nothing to do with science either, but probably does have to do with mind control and psychology.

You believe God personally made this stuff. I note this stuff follows rules, and that if God made this stuff so that it follows rules, it isn't evil to understand those rules. Neither is it evil to follow those rules that God did to make stuff myself, like frying pans or lighters, both of which are scientific advances over hot rocks and rubbing sticks together.

Twisting peoples minds to serve you is evil. Designing 3D printers isn't. Studying why people get sick isn't. Making medicine that heals people that are sick isn't evil. That's what I reckon is true.
