It's an alarming concept. I am unconvinced it is attainable with extant technology, absent significant invasive medical intervention enabling interaction with brain infrastructure.

I expect this to soon be an actual problem, however, as there are plentiful suggestions in the literature that this has long been a goal. I am unaware of any suggestion that such interference is possible without some kind of medical intervention and enabling device(s).

I also find some of the names named unlikely participants in such a scheme, if not all of them, due to interactions I have had with them in the past. Overall, my heart goes out to the poster, and it is my sincere hope that such helpful treatment as may be possible is availed them with complete success and restoration of their ability to be at peace.
