In fact, ongoing technological development already avails us of the power to effect our own quality of life with means of production suitable to individual ownership. 3D printing, CRISPR, cryptocurrency, mesh networks, aquaponics, and on and on, the list of decentralized means of production continues to grow and be developed. If we would be free men, we will have to make our freedom and provide our quality of life ourselves.
