What a poignant example of our youthful exegesis to maturity, facilitated by our endeavors to exemplify reason and understanding. I am reminded of the fanciful tales I concocted to tell my children, of interplanetary civilization of Rainbow Birds of immense size, and sentient ants that hitched rides on them, even accompanied by the crayon masterpieces of my sons and songs we sang describing their epic journeys and intercivilizational relations.
Sadly, all those delightful tales have been lost to the vicissitudes of time and penury as well.
Thanks!
Edit: I have recalled a bit of one of the songs:
Rainbow birds have ants in their pants.
Rainbow birds have ants in their pants.
Rainbow birds have ants in their pants.
Rainbow birds fly ants to France.
It was just silly enough to engage my sons to imagine and express themselves, as you did in your journaling.
