"Remember IBM-DOS and MS-DOS?"

I remember DR-DOS, that Microshaft literally stole and called MS-DOS, because I was using it at the time.

We don't need to raid their vaults or dig them up out of their bunkers, where they can die of loneliness just fine. We need to actually create the blessings of civilization ourselves without depending on them at all, without credit, banks, usury, or middlemen. It's not even a tall order, because we have novel means of production at our fingertips, crypto, and a complete plan of the blessings to supply because the blessings we mostly want are mostly on the market now. There's more, of course, but agile minds and nimble makers will pump them out and the better options will be adopted because they're better for reasons and folks reasonably want to better their lot.
