This is false. Money is a technology, a service that facilitates commerce. No one is using BTC to buy and sell pizza or bobbleheads. Also, money is something that, as you say, retains it's value. It can't just be turned off, like BTC. If BlackRock doesn't want you to transact in BTC, you will not be able to transfer BTC using their network. They can granularly select who gets to transact over their network, and what they can transact with. BTC is just data, and has no value unless it can be communicated across the network, and the network is not just software protocols, but a physical infrastructure owned by corporations, and BlackRock controls those corporations. As we can observe, nothing is easier than censorship.
Your BTC having any value is at the permission of Larry Fink. Good luck with that.
