You speak for yourself. I am capable of ascertaining for myself the shape of the Earth, using the methods of Eratosthenes to measure the angle of the sun's light at different latitudes. I do have an idea of where we live, because I have done the research and understood basic principles of physics that are consilient across all disciplines and science.

Your confusion is your own. You may not understand how to conduct experiments and interpret the results, but your lack of understanding is yours alone, and that of equally confused and incapable people is theirs.

Leave me and the rest of us that do understand sound, demonstrable principles, out of it.
