Because they are about to impose the CBDC digital currencies on the world by mandate, and non-conforming data is about to be eliminated from the internet in order to force transactions to be undertaken through CBDCs. The dog and pony show with Musk and Moraes reveals this narrative is being created and Musk is going to be defeated by globally homogenous censorship policies he will have 'no choice' but to follow or X will simply be blocked in every polity.

This isn't their first rodeo. They're not seeking to make money off PM volatility, or BTC. They're seeking to enslave the world, to reduce humanity to utter dependence on them and the centralized production they completely control. They want you to own nothing, and they are making it happen, one step at a time. Will allowing BTC to be freely transactable contribute to that? Only as a trap for capital that they can simply eradicate with the flip of a switch whenever they decide to eliminate the fiat mechanism, reserve currency altogether, and move to CBDCs globally. Suddenly BRICS and the West will come to accord on this economic system, and plebs will be left in shock and awe.

Censorship is fundamental to that handover, and the Musk/Moraes conflict is creating plausible basis for massively increasing censorship globally without alerting crypto HODLers to their actually being the primary target.

Trade goods are a temporary measure to enable transition to a decentralized and distributed production economy. That distributed production is the only mechanism that can prevent being utterly dependent on centralized collective slavery to produce the meager goods plebs will be allowed by the slavemaster overlords. Peoples that are competent to produce their own goods and services will be capable of providing their quality of life themselves - as long as they can defend it.

Fortunately, modern defense tech is vastly superior to swords and firearms, and independent means of production are just as productive of FPV drones and the variety of security tech as they are of household goods, and nominal populations of free people will outproduce hapless slaves (who will, in fact, be a drag on overlords unless flung into war as cannon fodder, and even then). The bare fact is that psychopaths aren't rational. They have broken brains. They have been part of generational secret plans to conquer the world, and they are literally hell bent on it. They aren't competent to create a stable and functional society, particularly not of psychopaths and sociopathic minions, because they can only view one another as tools to aggrandize themselves.

Mentally healthy, normally socialized people, OTOH, can and will.
