Highly doubtful. The need of the overlords is to eliminate the economic viability ubiquitously, without exceptions. They don't need economic viability, because they have, or will acquire, the means to create it. The means to create economic viability aren't provided by any asset class other than means of production that can be secured from all threats.

You can't sleep in BTC or PM's. Financial value isn't wealth. Even a crappy bed is better than a BTC when you're sleepy.

Thinking can change quick in them competent to change their thinking, and there will be unavoidable conclusions drawn upon the dawning of the collapse. It's not just Boomers that need to change their thinking, but all ages and demographics, and most of all the overly empowered relative to their competence.

Merit will be a far more valuable asset than anything else, and allies more valuable than rich bottomland and machinegun turrets. In the long run, no one needs to survive all the catastrophes overlords have planned, because not all of them will eventuate. The vile psychopaths that undertake this collapse are without integrity, honor, or compatibility, and no one will hate them more than each other. As they struggle to gain primacy each over the others, as cannot fail to happen because psychopaths can't help it, their depredations will be forgotten as they struggle to survive and rule against each other.

There will be cracks, and folks as squirm through them will attain to economic productivity because if they don't they'll die, and there's plenty of Boomers and Zoomers with a will to live and an agile mind.
