I followed a thread over the last 24 hours posted by a Ukrainian serviceman who was very demoralized, having had his force, the 33rd, decimated a few days ago trying to take a trench. He was short on details, understandably, but stated that 60 of the 114 guys in his outfit had died, and he only lived because of luck.

Clearly not the bigger picture, but a report from the front. My assessment is that if invited to participate, don't.
