Besides Russia, and perhaps Nigeria and Darfur, what oil and gas is available to China? Nothing is coming through the Strait of Hormuz. Qatar's LNP production, ~20% of global supply, is now 0. The US actually seized a tanker full of Venezuelan crude China had already purchased. Is that en route to China today? I am sure the Houthis will allow China to get oil from the Horn of Africa and through the Red Sea, but will that include shipments from Venezuela, and is that enough to make up for the majority of oil shipped through the Strait of Hormuz that is no longer available to China? Biden sold the US Petroleum Reserves to China. Will the US supply China with oil?

More importantly, given that the US is widely considered agreement incapable, how likely is it that China will become dependent on US production, or on Venezuelan production the US now controls? I cannot quantify Chinese reserves, but I can't imagine it has more than a few weeks supply on hand, given how large it's need is. Any particulars you could provide with sources would go a long way to convincing me China isn't being embargoed as was Japan immediately prior to WWII.

Edit: Malay and Azerbaijani production are also available to China. However I am largely ignorant of the quality and quantity of any of these sources, and how available to China they are.
