That Christmas party was full of kids. I was lucky I had a pocket full of stickers. The clerk at the Pharmacy always hooks me up with whatever they hand out to kids, so the stickers kept the kids busy for a bit. Not too busy to infect me though, LOL.

I'm really not sure how actually communicable the flu is TBH. There has been extensive research into transmitting respiratory viruses and some of the experiments just couldn't infect people. It's weird. Where does the flu go all summer? Where does it come from about now every year? Seasonal viruses aren't just passed from subject to subject, or else they wouldn't be seasonal, but folks would have the flu year round.

Anyway, I haven't had a seasonal respiratory ILI (influenza like illness) for more than a decade. I am generally just immune. Kinda freaked me out that two days after the big party I wake up with a horrible cough, razorblades in my throat, and ran a slight fever. I sure don't want to give that to anyone I care about, especially not something that can make me ill, so I begged off work.

I am a lot better today, and beginning to suspect I'll live.

BTW, I spent hours today trying to figure out how to get pics of my Christmas branch posted without creating a Goolag account, which I just won't do. There's enough creepy stalking going on without me asking for more. I did manage to install F Droid, and now I'm looking for a file manager that can bypass Goolag. I bet I can do it by Valentine's Day!
