Hola amigo @castm2, es normal que a personas como tu o yo nos cueste en ciertos momentos dar abrazos, de hecho no son para todo el mundo, pero me alegra saber que conservas viva la llama del amor junto a tu esposa haciéndola sentir protegida y amada a través de tus abrazos, eso es muy importante.

Por otro lado pienso que al igual que tu un abrazo es reparador, como la historia que nos cuentas de la señora deprimida. Sigo creyendo que hay todo un universo detrás de esto.
