The American Chemist, Viper, codename "Pandemic", loves to deploy her poisons, controls the battlefield as to her liking, get frags and win the fight. She cuts vision and deal decay damage to all agents that breathes her poisons, friend or foe.
Snake Bite
A deadly poison in a canister, breaks and spreads upon landing to a flat surface dealing continues damage to agents that steps to the poison and slows them. Be careful on landing those 'cause it can also kill your teammates.
This ability is good for zoning the enemy team, finishing of a low health enemy or delaying them from doing their objective. Pair these with your bullets and it'll rip off their health bars. Put these on narrow entrances to prevent enemy advance, spaces to isolate and break their formation, and annoying corners that everyone are hiding on, as its best uses for it to pay off.

Poison Cloud
Deployed as an emitter, plants to the ground and creates an orb-shaped poison gas that blocks vision and decays health of agents inside the orb excluding viper. Viper on the enemy team still takes decaying damage. Poison Cloud is a controllable smoke but limits it with toxin levels that regenerates when not in use, consuming 10 toxin points per second. When toxins reaches zero, it automatically turns off. And also can be picked up regardless of it is on or off.
This is a great vision control and crowd control ability that creates multiple opportunities to bring her team to victory. Delay enemies and control places then get frags.

Toxic Screen
Viper's signature ability. She shoots a projectile that sets her gas emitter in a straight line that reaches about half the map at maximum. It can be reactivated and puts up a wall of toxins. It also consumes toxins, along with Poison Cloud, consuming 10 toxins per second. Toxin Screen also deals decay damage when agents touches the screen.
In partner with Poison Cloud, this is the strongest vision control that an agent can offer. Viper can cut off a site to half and control the walls leading herself to her killing spree, putting her team to a winning position.

Viper's Pit
Viper's Ultimate ability. Sprays a great amount of gas that can cover up a site and lasts indefinitely unless Viper leaves the pit for 4 seconds. It also decays health of all agents inside the pit, including allies (but on a slower rate), only drops them down to 1 health but never kills them. On Viper's perspective, enemies are highlighted as red (by default).
This is the best camping and delay ability on the game. It shortens the vision of anyone inside and can put a 1 versus 5 situation to 1 versus 1, picking them 1 by 1. Along side with Poison Cloud and Toxic Screen, her vision control is over-powered when executed perfectly, and can solo the enemy team.

There's a few strategies that can be executed using Viper's ability. The one-way smokes using Poison Cloud are essential to her kit, so make sure to learn them. Make good use of the range of her signature ability, Toxic Screen. It can help teammates hold a site even she's at a different site or take control of places. Utilize the Snake Bite using them to clear corners that are hard to clear and zone enemies. And her best ability, Viper's Pit, use it to hold a site or to protect the spike, and especially, against 1 versus 5 situations.
She's an underrated pick at Valorant since her abilities are not that rewarding compared to other agents. That's why I play using her. I'm going to exploit her potential and show that Viper is also fun to play.
