Small family business or large coffe shops 🤔, My thoughts.

Interesting topic today, isn't it? 🤔, What are our thoughts on large chain businesses and small family businesses in the coffee sector? I have my own opinions on the matter.

First I believe that this topic can be approached in two ways, from the point of view of business establishments and also from the production of coffee as such, in other words, do I prefer to go to a large popular coffee shop or go to a small family place? or, do I like more the coffee produced by well-known companies? or I enjoy the handcrafted coffee produced by small family brands more?, I believe that all of them have their benefits and charms✨.

I think it is common for people to choose popular places or products from large companies because they already have recognition and are known as "safe", but I think it is important to help new entrepreneurships that come from the hands of families who have the illusion of being able to create a great business. We know of the existence of small family businesses that grow and become big companies (a dream come true).

Here I was with a friend in a small cafe located inside a shopping mall in my city. They offer coffee, brownies and soft drinks (is at least 3 personal photos but when I go to a food place I don't take photos, I will now, I hope it's not a big problem).

The large coffee chains have in their favor their popularity and that they have establishments in several places, even in different countries, but I think that the small family businesses have a personal touch, something unique that makes many people continue to go to them, whether it is their style or the flavor of the coffee that they serve that is not found in other places.

The small family coffee shops often have more homemade decorations that can make the customer feel at home, also tend to be calmer, of course, the popular ones of large companies usually have more customers so they are always more crowded. The feelings that convey the different locations can be very diverse.

Let's go back to the topic of coffee flavor ☕, the big coffee chains usually offer different types of coffee, so there is variety for the client to choose from, the small businesses may not offer as much diversity but they always have their special secret recipe that is not seen anywhere else, as I mentioned before.

I think without a doubt that the fact of going to one or the other is more a matter of personal preference, each one has its own charm in location, preparation and flavor (also apply to the production of coffee as such).
