Old #Dubai.
Have you ever known about existing of Old Town in Dubai? Usually this city is associated with skyscrapers and large shopping malls, luxury hotels and wide beaches.
A kingdom of glass and concrete.
But some part of history remained when there was a fishermen village and pearl trading was the main income and there was a large bazaar (it exists till now but not so big).
The Old Town is divided by river into 2 parts : on the sourhern side there is an old quarter-museum Al-Bastakia and Creek harbour and on the northern part there is a Gold Bazaar. There is no bridges so only one kind of transports are wooden boats which cost 2 dirhams (15 UAH or 0.5$).
There are many museums in this district and some outdoor excibitions (boats, doors, tools), old air towers remained (where air was cooled when there before appearing of air conditioners). Old Bazaar is orientally colourful and it's calm, clean, accurate and very attractive.
