Interesting is the part where you refer to Blizzard. The legendary World of Warcraft game seems to be inspired by The Lord of the Rings - this means that Blizzard already offers us an alternative to J.R.R. Tolkien's story. At least that's what i perceive. Blizzard, from my point of view, will greatly alter the originality of Lord of the rings or The Silmarion story.
