Van Helsing remains, for me, a kind of gothic carnival: classic monsters, exaggerated action, Kate Beckinsale in full “warrior mode,” and Jackman as the ultimate hunter. Sure, the CGI is from 2004, but the atmosphere and energy still deliver....it’s the kind of film that, even with its imperfections, keeps its charm and pulls you in without you noticing. And honestly… with today’s technology, it would be fascinating to see it reimagined at modern standards.
