Espero se encuentren de lo mejor y hayan pasado un bonito lunes. En esta ocasión les comparto el paso a paso para elaborar un hermoso dulcero con temática de ardilla. Viendo mi lista de temas del mes, me percaté de que esta semana me tocaba elaborar un dulcero y pensando en qué temática utilizar, recordé que muy pocas veces he elaborado figuras de animalitos. Así que, en esta ocasión, no quise perder la oportunidad y escogí elaborar a una hermosa ardilla y así, practicar un poco el tema de dibujar rostros.
Estoy muy feliz con el resultado, pues quedó realmente tierno y, por otra parte, es superfácil y sencillo de elaborar, tanto la figura como la cajita, así que no hay excusas para crear unos bonitos dulceros para alguna celebración o cumpleaños.

I hope you are doing well and had a nice Monday. On this occasion I share with you the step by step to make a beautiful squirrel-themed candy box. Looking at my list of themes for the month, I realized that this week I had to make a candy box and thinking about what theme to use, I remembered that I have very rarely made figures of animals. So, on this occasion, I didn't want to miss the opportunity and chose to make a beautiful squirrel and thus practice a little drawing faces.
I am very happy with the result, because it turned out really cute and, on the other hand, it is super easy and simple to make, both the figure and the box, so there are no excuses to create some pretty sweets for a celebration or birthday.

- Cartulina metalizada dorada.
- Foami marrón.
- Foami piel.
- Foami escarchado negro.
- Marcadores.
- Pintura blanca.
- Cinta o tela (color deseado)
- Pegamento.

- Gold metallic cardstock.
- Brown foam.

- Black frosted foam.

PROCEDIMIENTO | PROCESS
- PASO 1:
Lo primero que hice fue el dibujo de la ardilla en una hoja blanca, recorté cada una de las partes y las pasé al color correspondiente de foami, en este caso; la cabeza y las patas en foami marrón y la cara en foami piel.
- STEP 1:
The first thing I did was the drawing of the squirrel on a white sheet, I cut out each of the parts and transferred them to the corresponding color of foam, in this case; The head and legs are made of brown foam and the face is made of leather foam.
- PASO 2:
Luego tracé por todo el borde de la cabeza y las patas, marcador negro y dibujé la forma de las orejas. Para el rostro utilicé tiza marrón claro para el borde. Después dibujé el rostro con lápiz, luego rellené con marcador negro y para las cejas y pestañas, utilicé marcador marrón. Para darle color a las mejillas, utilicé un poco de tiza rosada y difuminé con el dedo.
- STEP 2:
Then I traced around the edge of the head and legs with black marker and drew the shape of the ears. For the face I used light brown chalk for the edge. After I drew the face with pencil, then I filled in with black marker and for the eyebrows and eyelashes, I used brown marker. To add color to the cheeks, I used a little pink chalk and blended it with my finger.
- PASO 3:
Seguidamente, pegué cada una de las piezas en el orden correspondiente y las patitas cerca de las mejillas. Recorté un corazón con foami escarchado negro y lo pequé como nariz. Pegué un lacito de tela, tú puedes hacerlo con cinta delgada y por último, di toques de luz con pintura blanca en los ojos, las mejillas, nariz, cabeza y oreja.
- STEP 3:
Next, I glued each of the pieces in the corresponding order and the legs near the cheeks. I cut out a heart with black frosted foam and used it as a nose. I glued a little fabric bow, you can do it with thin tape and finally, I gave highlights with white paint on the eyes, cheeks, nose, head and ear.
- PASO 4:
Para la caja, esta vez quería que fuera una cajita más ancha arriba y un poco pequeña abajo, para darle una forma diferente y que no fuera la típica caja cuadrada. Así que las medidas fueron las siguientes: base de 10 cm x 4 cm. Paredes más grandes de 12 cm x 10 cm. Paredes más pequeñas de 7 cm x 4 cm. Pliegues de 1 cm. Recorté y pegué cada una de las partes. Como he mencionado últimamente, me gusta pegar los pliegues por fuera, para que den otra apariencia y es más resistente.
- STEP 4:
For the box, this time I wanted it to be a wider box at the top and a little smaller at the bottom, to give it a different shape and not be the typical square box. So the measurements were as follows: base 10 cm x 4 cm. Walls larger than 12cm x 10cm. Smaller walls 7cm x 4cm. 1 cm folds. I cut out and glued each of the parts. As you mentioned lately, I like to glue the folds on the outside, so that they give another appearance and are more resistant.
- PASO 5:
Luego, doblé las paredes más pequeñas a la mitad para darle una forma diferente y, por último, pegué la ardilla en medio de la caja y algunos círculos en foami escarchado negro en las esquinas de la caja.
- STEP 5:
Then, I folded the smaller walls in half to give it a different shape and lastly, I glued the squirrel in the middle of the box and some black frosted foam circles in the corners of the box.
✨¡Y listo!✨Así es como puedes elaborar este bonito dulcero de ardilla, muy fácil y rápido. Me encanto hacer la figura de una ardilla, pues casi siempre hago otro tipo de figuras y nunca animales, intentaré hacerlos más seguido. Recuerden que esta es solo una idea, pueden hacerla tal cual o inspirarse y crear algo hermoso. Espero les haya gustado el paso a paso y se animen a elaborarlo.
