Hello travelers!
Continuing to tell you about the trip to Jericoacoara, in this post I will share a little more about our arrival at the village.
After disembarking at Fortaleza airport, we headed to Jeri and stayed at Pousada Chez Toi, very well located, within walking distance of the beach and the center of the village.
With an architecture that matches the vibe of Jeri, the atmosphere is very cozy. It was a great choice for our stay.
After settling into the rooms, which are spacious and elegantly decorated and comfortable beds ensured a great place to rest after days full of adventures, we went up to the rooftop.
The view is really nice from up there, you can see the sea and we enjoyed the pool and sunbathing for a bit.
Followed by a walk around the village to look for a restaurant for lunch and schedule tours for the next few days.
You will find different tours and activities and most of the prices are fixed, but it is always good to negotiate and research to understand where they will take you.
The first time I went to Jeri, I asked for a tour where tourists don't go, restaurants in Lagoa and sunsets on dunes with fewer people.
Some tour options in Jeri:
Sunset in the Dunes: Take a buggy ride into the middle of the dunes for a spectacular setting to enjoy the sunset. But if you don't want to rent a buggy, you can walk to the closest observation point to the village, which is Duna do P么r do Sol, with incredible views of the sunset and the sea.
Lagoa do Para铆so: One of the best-known lagoons in the region, known for its crystal clear waters and white sands and the tents on the edge of the lagoon with hammocks over the waters to relax and cool off.
Pedra Furada: A natural arch-shaped rock formation that is popular for photographs. At some times of the year you can see the sun rising through the stone, which leads many to hike to Pedra Furada in the early hours of the morning to see the sun rise from there.
Sloth Tree: A unique tree located in the dunes known for its sloping shape. It's a great place to take photos and enjoy the scenery.
Blue Lagoon: Another stunning lagoon in the region enchants visitors with its calm waters and intense blue color.
Hike to Pedra Rachada: A walk along the beach leads to Pedra Rachada, a rock formation that extends into the sea with panoramic views of the ocean.
Trail to Lagoa do Cora莽茫o: A walking or cycling trail leads to the Lagoa, which is shaped like a Heart, being another freshwater option.
Esquibunda nas Dunas: A fun activity in the dunes is esquibunda, where visitors descend the dunes on sliding boards.
Walk to Praia da Malhada: A quieter beach, accessible by a walk along the coast, perfect for water sports.
And there? which of these would you choose?
There are many options of tours to take, and they are mainly divided into the west side and the east side, where each one has its strengths.
One side is for adventures through the dunes, while the other is for enjoying the lagoon part of paradise.
After some scheduled tours and an excellent lunch, we returned to the inn. They had told us that there would be a happy hour with a live music show, with a lot of MPB and international music with an Argentine singer and it would be great to combine this show with the moment to watch the sunset from the inn's rooftop while enjoying a pool.
On the way back, a meeting with this beautiful cat. And know that cats have their place in the village, you can expect to find several cats there, in addition to the famous dogs and even donkeys walking around the village.
The heat made the pool essential for cooling off and relaxing after the plane and car journey.
Heat, pool, drinks and live music as the sun said goodbye, that moment to be grateful for another great day.
The rooftop atmosphere provided a relaxed happy hour with lots of laughter and toasts with friends.
But the night in Jeri was just beginning, after that sunset we got ready to enjoy a forr贸 at Espa莽o Serramar.
An authentic forr贸 place, a simple environment, surrounded by nature and a dirt floor where the energy of true northeastern forr贸 takes over the environment.
While the main show didn't start, two dance teachers taught those who didn't know how to dance. As I'm not a good dancer, why not get some tips to improve...
Between drinks, conversations and lots of fun, the night was really cool and to our surprise something unusual happened.
A guy offered to take our friend away on horseback, and to this day we say that she "cleared the game" by leaving on a white horse. Did she find Prince Charming?
It's difficult to describe the scene, her riding away through the sandy streets under the glow of the moon.
A moment worthy of a romance film, and we all laughed as she walked away towards the inn, disbelieving this episode.
Of course, in the next few days we talked about it again and at every opportunity I told everyone what happened.
This was just the beginning of our adventures in Jeri and I'll be back here soon to tell you more about the next few days as I had plans to tour the entire region.

Continuando contando sobre a viagem para Jericoacoara, neste post vou compartilhar um pouco mais da nossa chegada 脿 vila.
Depois de desembarcar no aeroporto de Fortaleza seguimos para Jeri e nos hospedamos na Pousada Chez Toi, muito bem localizada, a uma curta dist芒ncia a p茅 da praia e do centro da vila.
Com uma arquitetura que combina a vibe de Jeri, o ambiente 茅 bem aconchegante. Foi uma 贸tima escolha para nossa estadia.
Depois de se instalar nos quartos, que s茫o amplos e decorados com eleg芒ncia e camas confort谩veis garantiram um 贸timo lugar para descansar depois de dias cheio de aventuras, subimos para o rooftop.
A vista 茅 bem legal l谩 de cima, que d谩 pra ver o mar e ficamos curtindo um pouco da piscina e tomando sol.
Seguido de um passeio pela vila para procurar um restaurante para almo莽ar e agendar passeios para os pr贸ximos dias.
Voc锚 vai encontrar diversos passeios e atividades e maioria dos valores s茫o tabelados, mas sempre 茅 bom negociar e pesquisar para entender para onde eles v茫o levar.
Na primeira vez que fui para Jeri, pedi um tour para onde os turistas n茫o v茫o, restaurantes na Lagoa e por do sol em dunas com menos pessoas.
Algumas op莽玫es de passeios em Jeri:
P么r do Sol nas Dunas: Ir de buggy at茅 meio das dunas para um cen谩rio espetacular para apreciar o p么r do sol. Mas Caso n茫o queira alugar o buggy, da pra ir andando at茅 o ponto de observa莽茫o mais pr贸ximo da vila que 茅 a Duna do P么r do Sol, com vista incr铆vel do por so sol e do mar.
Lagoa do Para铆so: Uma das lagoas mais conhecidas da regi茫o que 茅 conhecida por suas 谩guas cristalinas e areias brancas e as barracas 脿 beira da lagoa com redes sobre as 谩guas para relaxar e se refrescar.
Pedra Furada: Uma forma莽茫o rochosa natural em forma de arco, que 茅 popular para fotografias. Em algumas 茅pocas do ano da pra ver o sol nascendo por entre a pedra, o que leva a muitos fazem a caminhada at茅 a Pedra Furada de madrugada para ver o sol nascer de l谩.
脕rvore da Pregui莽a: Uma 谩rvore 煤nica localizada nas dunas conhecida pela forma inclinada. 脡 um 贸timo local para tirar fotos e apreciar a paisagem.
Lagoa Azul: Outra lagoa deslumbrante na regi茫o encanta os visitantes com suas 谩guas tranquilas e colora莽茫o azul intensa.
Caminhada at茅 a Pedra Rachada: Uma caminhada ao longo da praia leva at茅 a Pedra Rachada, uma forma莽茫o rochosa que se estende para o mar com vista panor芒mica do oceano.
Trilha at茅 a Lagoa do Cora莽茫o: Uma trilha a p茅 ou de bicicleta leva at茅 a Lagoa que tem formato de Cora莽茫o sendo uma outra op莽茫o de 谩gua doce.
Esquibunda nas Dunas: Uma atividade divertida nas dunas 茅 o esquibunda, onde os visitantes descem as dunas em pranchas deslizantes.
Caminhada at茅 a Praia da Malhada: Uma praia mais tranquila, acess铆vel por uma caminhada pela costa a perfeita para praticar esportes aqu谩ticos.
E ai? qual desses voc锚 escolheria?
Tem muitas op莽玫es de passeios para fazer, e s茫o principalmente divididos pelo lado oeste e pelo lado leste, onde cada um tem seus pontos fortes.
Um lado 茅 para fazer aventuras pelas dunas, enquanto o outro s茫o para curtir a parte da lagoa do para铆so.
Depois de alguns passeios agendados e um excelente almo莽o, voltamos para a pousada. Tinham nos avisado que iria ter um happy hour com show de m煤sica ao vivo, com bastante MPB e musical interncionais com um cantor Argentino e seria 贸timo combinar esse show com o momento para assistir o p么r do sol do rooftop da pousada curtindo uma piscina.
Na volta, um encontro com esse gato lindo. E saiba que os gatos tem seu lugar na vila, pode esperar encontrar v谩rios gatos por l谩, al茅m dos famosos cachorros e at茅 mesmo jegues passeando pela vila.
O calor deixou a piscina indispens谩vel para se refrescar e relaxar depois da viagem de avi茫o e carro.
Calor, piscina, drinks e m煤sica ao vivo enquanto o sol se despedia, aquele momento para agradecer por mais um 贸timo dia.
A atmosfera do rooftop proporcionou um happy hour descontra铆do com muitas risadas e brindes com amigos.
Mas a noite em Jeri estava apenas come莽ando, depois desse sunset fomos nos arrumar para curtir um forr贸 no Espa莽o Serramar.
Um aut锚ntico local de forr贸, ambiente simples, em meio a natureza e ch茫o de terra onde a energia fo verdadeiro forr贸 nordestino toma conta do ambiente.
Enquanto o show principal n茫o come莽ava, dois professores de dan莽a ensinavam quem n茫o sabia dan莽ar. Como n茫o sou um bom dan莽arino, porque n茫o pegar algumas dicas para melhorar...
Entre drinks, conversas e muita divers茫o, a noite foi muito legal e para nossa surpresa algo inusitado aconteceu.
Um rapaz ofereceu levar nossa amiga embora de cavalo, e at茅 hoje comentamos que ela "zerou o game" indo embora de cavalo branco do rol锚. Ser谩 que ela encontrou o pr铆ncipe encantado?
脡 dif铆cil descrever a cena, ela indo embora cavalgando pelas ruas de areia sob o brilho da lua.
Um momento digno de um filme de romance, e todos n贸s demos gargalhadas enquanto ela se afastava em dire莽茫o 脿 pousada, desacreditando desse epis贸dio.
Claro que n贸s pr贸ximos dias voltamos a falar sobre isso e em toda oportunidade contava o ocorrido para todo mundo.
