There has been a huge amount of construction in the Sugarhouse District of Salt Lake City. This apartment complex is rising adjacent to I80 just off of Highland Drive. I took the picture with my smart phone as my primary lens (A Sigma 28-90mm) is unable to take wideangle shots. The picture has some wicked distortion.
I crossed the street and took a second shot of the building with my Nikon. The perspective and color is better, but there is a tree in the way of the North side of the building.
This newly opened office tower is adjacent to the apartment complex. I used the smart phone. I was being artsy and have an overlap between the buildings. These artsy details separate third rate photographers from fourth rate photographers.
This is the shiny new Sugar House Health Center which is part of the rapidly expanding U of U Medical system.
I've wondered if the apartments have become too dense in the area. The complex below has taken several years to complete.
This wonderful tiny-house style building is currently in a lot just North of the construction projects.
The fact that the new building is sitting on pallets makes me question if the business has a long term commitment to the area.
