In my opinion, everyone knows Amsterdam, but do you know its hidden places? It's not just about smoking marijuana and partying, but it's also a great place to relax, satisfy your appetite, etc. I spent 3 months in the capital of the Netherlands and thanks to my job as a food courier I had the opportunity to get to know the city. In today's first episode, I'll show you some places that are worth seeing.

1) Kersenbloesempark

This beautiful place with cherry trees is located in the south of Amsterdam in a part called Amstelveen. It is a circular arrangement of trees and is a great place to relax. I recommend it if you are in Amsterdam during autumn or now in spring when the cherry trees are blooming with pink blossoms!

2) Amsterdam Zuid

Just take the metro to this place and get off at the Amsterdam Zuid stop and you'll find yourself in a skyscraper paradise. This new technological and advanced center of Amsterdam shows incredible architecture, with every building looking different. My favorite skyscraper is this one:

3) Houthavenpark (Houses)

I found the most amazing houses in this place along with the canals. Here you will find what it is like to live among the canals and how nicely it can be done. This is the northwest part of Amsterdam and you can get there by any public transport or by bike!

These three places are very well known to the locals, but for us travelers, they may be hidden because we are mainly interested in the historic center. In the next episode, we'll take a look at what else Amsterdam has to offer.
