After getting crushed by the Wandering Wight due to its high stun resistance, I respawned at the forest shrine. Bypassing the brute, I cleared surrounding wolves and fire-arrow enemies for upgrades, stumbled upon a waterfall boss, and geared up the Destined One to face a meditation-disturbed foe.
The encounter with Wandering Wight turned south fast. The moment he spotted me, he came charging directly at my position. I used my stun ability to lock him in place and unleashed a barrage of attacks, but his massive strength meant the stun duration was brief.
Dodging his incoming strikes proved to be the best counterplay, though even glancing hits dealt heavy damage whenever I failed to clear his reach.
Once my cooldown refreshed, I cast stun again to squeeze in extra damage, but he broke free almost immediately and resumed his relentless assault.
I managed to back away to create breathing room, only to realize that stepping outside the arena boundary triggered a complete health reset for the boss.
Forced to finish the fight inside the ring, I cast another stun during his next charge. I stepped in to punish him, but he countered through my combo and took me down, proving himself far stronger than expected.
Respawning back outside the forest at the shrine, I decided to change my approach. I sprinted down the main trail and immediately killed the patrolling wolf, opting to avoid Wandering Wight for the time being.
Instead, I focused on clearing out smaller hostiles to gain experience, materials, and potential new abilities.
I closed the distance on the fire-arrow thrower before he could shoot, taking him out quickly before clearing a pair of nearby wolves.
Checking on the plant monster I had defeated earlier, I confirmed it remained dead, unlike the respawning chest guard.
Exploring an uncharted side path, I eliminated another wolf before discovering a scenic waterfall. Resting near the water was another large boss, and I backed out of the spot to avoid pulling another heavy encounter right away.
Pushing along an alternate trail, I encountered a massive boss who angrily demanded to know how I dared interrupt his meditation.
Before committing to the duel, I opened my menu to equip upgraded armor pieces, strengthening my defense and giving the Destined One a far sharper, battle-ready appearance.
