In October 2019, playing as Alex, I emerged from a tunnel system in Urzikstan alongside Farah and Hadir. Disguised in civilian clothing, Farah and I navigated an occupied city controlled by Barkov's brutal forces. After initial failed attempts to blend in, I successfully passed guards by carrying heavy work bricks.

A new mission titled Embedded began as a woman named Farah informed me that the tunnels were online. We were positioned inside an underground passage, and she instructed me to follow her. The operation took place on October 26, 2019, in Aqtabi, Urzikstan.

I was following both Farah and Hadir, though I was initially unsure which character I was controlling. It turned out I was playing as Alex.

Before moving forward, I took a C4 explosive paired with a remote detonator from Hadir. He asked me to watch over his sister, Farah, explaining that he would not be joining us for the next stretch.

I climbed a ladder to follow Farah up into a house at the tunnel exit, where we met another man named Tariq.

Farah told me to use a scarf to cover my face before stepping outside. I wrapped the scarf around my head to disguise myself and Farah did the same.

Before we departed, Farah advised me to hide my weapon out of sight, and I complied before following her out the door.

The environment outside was an active war zone. Russian soldiers were actively mistreating and torturing the local population throughout the streets.

As I stayed close to Farah, she explained that Barkov's forces occupied the entire city and routinely brutalized the residents. She noted that Barkov himself never appeared in public, preferring to hide while his troops carried out the dirty work, which she described as harsh collective punishment.

She instructed me to blend in naturally with the civilian population to avoid drawing suspicion. However, I misjudged the directions at first and was shot by the guards.

While the local women were directed toward the right side, I was supposed to move toward the front line. I followed the other side this time but I still lead to another quick death because I failed to act like a convincing civilian.

On the next attempt, I realized I needed to join the local work line. I picked up a heavy brick to look busy while Farah moved off to the opposite side. Carrying the brick allowed me to blend in seamlessly, and the guards finally allowed me to walk past without opening fire.
