Quiet, defensive and modest
the church looks into the country,
looks at all of our sufferings,
sees the many who avoid them,
is well known to all of us.
But we only know the walls
the tower, the windows and the roof.
The thing behind these walls
every storm could endure,
is still awake in a few.
