There are alot of factors involved in this, firstly you have to understand what war is and all about?
This is absence of people rather violence, mayhem and death.
War happens between one country against another, alot of people both soldiers and innocent civilians die.
Going into a war there is 50/50 chances of you coming back or coming out alive, so with this it is barely impossible to predict what you would do if a war happens because you might even be dead before the war even starts.
If a war starts i will p do anything to survive as long as i can , a war is about kill or be killed. So i will give myself that fighting chance of getting a weapon for safety and stay out of harm's way.
Ofcourse food and supply is always a basic necessity and its survival of the fittest.
So do whatever you can to survive.
