Good evening everyone. This is my entry into the contest tagged; "MY PERFECT DAY". I have read very beautiful things about Obudu Mountain Resort at Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. I have decided to spend my next vacation there. This facility was formally know as "Obudu cattle ranch". My perfect day will be the first day I spend in that facility, it will be a dream come true.
My Perfect Day!
I arrive and check-in to Obudu Mountain Resort, Calabar at about 7:30am. I will have my bath and relax from the long journey. Then, I will look out through my window to enjoy the breathtaking view of the mountains and valleys. Before leaving the room, I will take my camera as my companion because, it is very vital as it will help me capture all the memorable moments from this trip.
Then, I will go for breakfast. After breakfast, I will take a stroll around the resort to appreciate the beauty of nature including a ride on a houses back.
Towards noon, i will explore the car ride, which takes one to the top of the mountains. Then, the canopy walk, this is very adventurous, it enables you see the tree tops.
Another thing I must try on the first day is having a refreshing dip in their outdoor swimming pool, sorrounded with amazing landscape. This will surely help me relax and unwind.
Much later, I will try relaxing with some spar treatment. Then go for a dinner to enjoy both local and international cuisines and simultaneously savouring the all tranquilizing atmosphere.
After dinner, I will go to a suitable part of my room or a desinated place for stargazing. This I learnt, is magical if done in the absence of light. This can also be a more quiet time with self, so as to examine my life in the past years, to see how well or badly I have been doing both in business and life generally. From here, I will retire to my bed for a peaceful night rest.
Conclusion
In the coming weeks, I will initiate a conversation with their staffs through their website, for a possible reservation and to be abreast of all the activities or events that may be available at that time I plan to visit.
