I do not undertand the math - see a lot accounts with lower units and receiving way more vote (in $Hive).

In your example above please tell me why (bottom) balance and next vote estimate of "freecompliments" are way lower vs "ecoinstant" even they have comparable amount of units?

Here is a visual example (compare the “balance value estimate” column to the “next vote estimate” column):
