Originally all land was unowned. Then people homesteaded the land. They marked out their borders and worked the land, putting their effort and labor into it, raising crops and building buildings on it. This is what gave the land value. Then they passed the land on to their descendants or sold it to someone who could then profit from all the labor already put into the land.

If you stop working, stop being productive, you become a parasite on the rest of society. What kind of shitty advice does this channel hand out?
