1887 was a Utopian period where there was deflation for the most part of 1800s in USA and of course we had a lot of undiscovered gold.
Then the Federal reserve setup shop in 1913, "Roaring" Twenties of Credit and Booze, 1929 Crash, exactly 16 years after they wrapped their tentacles around the Banking system.
It's been 49 years of the complete Paper/Digital money system, since the destruction of the bretton woods agreeemnent.
