We may not have that money in the world but there is a gift that is always priceless and that is the love of God that we all can offer.
Having Christ in our life is not replacement of keeping but by keeping him all to ourselves. It is so that we can make others partake in the gift of the eternal life that we have received so we do our family members a lot of good by telling them our faith and by making them to join us.
Some of us may be scared or think that is a waste but we never know what will happen. If someone succeeded in convincing us that they are not beyond being convinced it is better that we try and not to succeed that they are not such than we know that we have played our role in saving them and bringing them to christ
